Ross Tasker graduated from the University of Wollongong's Bachelor of Creative Arts (Graphic Design and New Media) degree in 2003. Towards the end of his degree, he finally began writing "K'Tonk'Tonk, God of Fire", in the traditional comic strip style.

He currently works fulltime as a graphic designer.

As the comic is a labour of love, the upload schedule is quite sporadic, but new comics are put up on Sundays. If there is one.

Outside of his graphics work and comic making, Ross enjoys a wide variety of pop culture - movies, T.V., animation, as well as painting wargames miniatures and playing video games. None of these things encourages regular comic updates.
